Day 2 – Midwestern Christmas Snowstorm – Afternoon update

24th December 2009

This video shows the snowfall at about 2:30PM along with a snowplow clearing the road. Exciting stuff for an Alabama boy! Sorry for the crazy parakeet tweeting – I was standing right next to his cage and apparently invading “his space” when I was recording the video.

It has been snowing all day today with at least six inches already on the ground, and the weather forecast calls for the heaviest snow tonight with rates of 1-2 inches per hour! More pictures from throughout the day:

Also, I still had a chance to get an hour long bike ride in today — and I’ll hopefully ride again tonight weather permitting 😉

Thanks for making Walker’s morning with a snowplow video. 🙂 So, counting is the secret to training out in the freezing snow? Hmmmm, who knew.
