Love, love, love fresh peaches, but of course, these have all ripened within a day or two, so I&#8217;ve had to get busy using them! Here&#8217;s what I&#8217;ve been doing:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Freezing them, with great directions <a href=\"http:\/\/hubpages.com\/hub\/How-to-Freeze-Peaches\">here<\/a>.\u00a0 I hope to freeze some in 1 cup bags for muffins,<\/li>\n<li>A peach pie, from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dvo.com\/recipe_pages\/betty\/Peach_Pie.html\">Betty Crocker<\/a> (be warned, sound on this page)<\/li>\n<li>The most delicious, moist peach muffins from <a href=\"http:\/\/mennonitegirlscancook.blogspot.com\/2009\/07\/peaches-and-cream-muffins.html\">this recipe<\/a> (And the comments say that any muffin recipe can be made into waffles!\u00a0 How awesome is that?\u00a0 Believe me&#8230; I&#8217;ve got a lot of great muffin recipes that would be fun to try as waffles, especially these peach ones!)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wasabimon.com\/archive\/homemade-peach-ice-cream-recipe\/\">Homemade Peach Ice Cream<\/a> (to be made today, I hope)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.toonesalive.com\/blog\/family\/?p=1486\">Peach Frozen Yogurt<\/a> (awesome recipe I fell in love with last year)<\/li>\n<li>Maybe this <a href=\"http:\/\/cheaphealthygood.blogspot.com\/2010\/04\/breakfast-couscous-custard-with-peaches.html\">Breakfast Peach Couscous<\/a> recipe&#8230;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A few other ideas from my Google Bookmarks file&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/closetcooking.blogspot.com\/2009\/09\/peach-sour-cream-pecan-pie.html\">Peach &amp; Maple Sour Cream Pie<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/stolenmomentscooking.com\/peach-oatmeal-muffins\/\">Peach Oatmeal Muffins<\/a><\/li>\n<li>These <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ourbestbites.com\/2009\/09\/single-serving-pie-in-jar.html\">Single Serve Pies<\/a> look so awesome, and I&#8217;d love to try them with peaches.<\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I got a huge basket of peaches for just $14 while we were driving through South Carolina last weekend.\u00a0 They had been fresh-picked Sunday morning!
