{"id":651,"date":"2008-09-09T17:47:46","date_gmt":"2008-09-09T22:47:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.toonesalive.com\/blog\/family\/?p=651"},"modified":"2008-09-09T21:37:18","modified_gmt":"2008-09-10T02:37:18","slug":"sleeping-beauties","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.toonesalive.com\/blog\/family\/?p=651","title":{"rendered":"Sleeping Beauties"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This is what life looks like 30 minutes after we get home from picking Analise up at school.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/photos\/family\/08-sept\/sleeping-beauty.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Analise had changed into her princess costume briefly, before she collapsed into a nap on my bed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/photos\/family\/08-sept\/sleeping-beauty-j.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">My sweet boy loves his afternoon naps.\u00a0 &#8220;I sweepy&#8230;&#8221; he&#8217;ll say on our way home.\u00a0 He&#8217;ll go right into his room, asking for his &#8216;fier (&#8220;fire&#8221;, short for pacifier), curl up with his knees tucked under him, butt in the air and go right to sleep.\u00a0 Thomas the Train kept him company today.\u00a0 In fact, when I came in to check on him, battery-powered Thomas was still whirring awy in J&#8217;s hand.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">(Edited to add: I just found this photo of Analise, from April 2005, when she was just 10 months old.\u00a0 Still curled on her side, thumb in her mouth&#8230;)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.toonesalive.com\/photos\/family\/SF.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"338\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is what life looks like 30 minutes after we get home from picking Analise up at school.
