I dream of the quintessential family dinner around our table.\u00a0 Good, healthy, home-cooked meal, one of my kids praying before we eat, everyone happy, food staying on plates, everyone actually eating the same food, kids staying at the table with us – peacefully – until they’re done.\u00a0 And maybe even a delicous family dessert to top it all off.<\/p>\n
Sounds great.\u00a0 And yes, it does sound a bit impossible, especially with a 2 and a 4 year old who may be a bit more lively than most kids.\u00a0 Dinner has been a growing frustration of mine for any number of reasons… picky 4 year old, messy 2 year old, kids not wanting to sit.<\/p>\n
But it happened last night.\u00a0 My dream family dinner.\u00a0 It was so lovely, and it was even better than I could have imagined.<\/p>\n
