lots of good stuff!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Man, there&#8217;s been some good eatin&#8217; goin&#8217; on around here!\u00a0 Let me see if I can summarize it all&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/sweetnicks.com\/weblog\/2008\/08\/ham-and-gruyere-french-bread-pizza\/#more-2159\">Ham &amp; Gruyere French Bread Pizza<\/a> &#8211; Yum.\u00a0 Super easy.\u00a0 The gruyere was a little pricey, and I wasn&#8217;t sure I was going to like it with the strong smell.\u00a0 But it was very good.\u00a0 I might opt for a little cheaper fontina, swiss or baby swiss next time.\u00a0 Delicious!<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/sweetnicks.com\/weblog\/2008\/08\/deconstructed-lasagna\/\">Deconstructed Lasagna<\/a> &#8211; More or less the ingredients of lasagna, but without the work.\u00a0 The red sauce was AMAZING, probably due to the red wine.\u00a0 (Tip, we don&#8217;t drink much red wine here.\u00a0 I bought the little 4-pk of bottles, perfect for the occasional use.)\u00a0 The white sauce was good, but I might add more garlic and stir in more parmesean.\u00a0 It need a bit more flavor.\u00a0 We used whole wheat lasagna noodles, and it was EXCELLENT, and fairly easy!<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/wondertime.go.com\/life-at-home\/article\/powerball-cookies.html\">Powerball cookies<\/a> &#8211; Easy, quick, fun kid recipe.\u00a0 Not too bad for you.\u00a0 I subbed ground flaxseed meal for the wheat germ.\u00a0 They were tasty little bites!<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.marthastewart.com\/recipe\/blondies-with-chocolate-chips-and-walnuts?lnc=5a79cf380e1dd010VgnVCM1000005b09a00aRCRD&amp;rsc=cf_link&amp;comments_page=2#conversation-container\">Blondies with Chocolate Chips and Walnuts<\/a> &#8211; Wow&#8230; these were awesome.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve not enjoyed blondies before, but these were amazing!\u00a0 I even used all whole wheat flour with no problems.\u00a0 Cut them small so you can have 2 without feeling bad \ud83d\ude42<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/crockpot365.blogspot.com\/2008\/09\/crockpot-chicken-nuggets-recipe.html\">Crockpot Fried Chicken<\/a> &#8211; I actually didn&#8217;t use the crockpot bc the chicken wasn&#8217;t thawed early enough.\u00a0 But baked in the oven, this was tasty.\u00a0 I&#8217;m anxious to try it in the crockpot, my best friend in the kitchen!\u00a0 Oh, and this blog is full of amazing crockpot recipes!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ok, I&#8217;ve got <a href=\"https:\/\/www.toonesalive.com\/blog\/family\/?p=560\">bread<\/a> in the breadmaker, and Josiah&#8217;s in the kitchen playing with his rice bin, and I hear rice pitter-pattering across the floor, so I&#8217;d better go see how big the mess is.\u00a0 Thank goodness it&#8217;s just a quick sweep to clean up!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Man, there&#8217;s been some good eatin&#8217;
